Happy almost Halloween everyone!

This time of year brings out the best in people I believe, getting excited for the Holidays, carving pumpkins, drinking spiced lattes & frolicking in crunchy fallen leaves.  I had such a wonderful shoot with a great friend & photographer, Kevin, who explored DUMBO, Brooklyn with me and my three looks!

DUMBO, Brooklyn is a place I had not ventured to yet in my many years residing in New York.  I was so happy to finally see what all the fuss was about and all of it is certainly valid!  DUMBO is a very happening spot, and absolutely gorgeous to see breathtaking views of NYC and experience a cool vibe near the city.  The restaurants, cafes, shops and stores were all unique, warm and fabulous.  I fell in love with the famous DUMBO carousel and enjoyed the view from the steps facing the bridge and water.

These hip hugger 70's flair inspired jeans from Zara made me feel like a woman!  They hugged me in the right way and were so beyond comfortable.  I am not extremely tall, and I loved the way that these jeans made me look taller and complimented my figure.  I paired this look with a messy braid and a simple white wrinkle free blouse from Chico's.  Lastly, the camel flats are Sam Edelman.

My next look carried the Zara theme with a perfect dress up or dress down dress that can be rocked at an office for work or a girls' night out on the town paired with glittery jewelry and heels.  Not only did I feel classy but this dress is so comfortable and stretchy for anyone on the go! Pictures and links below to shop.  Also, the sock black stiletto boots are my FAVORITE!  These bad boys from Zara are so flattering on any leg and elongate.  I feel ten feet tall in these.

For my third look, I threw on my new favorite obsession, this Chanel inspired Zara pearl buttoned blazer, over my 70's casual look, and instantly paired with high heeled black boots made me look like I was heading to a fancy event from work.  I love how warm and thick this blazer is, and once winter comes, can be used also as a jacket.  Timeless is the ultimate word to describe this gorgeous blazer and I have been getting tons of compliments!  Someone even thought it was Saint John, which is such a wonderful comparison.
