SUMMER HAS ARRIVED! 

Hello Lovelies,

Bathing Suit season is upon us with Memorial Day Weekend coming up and sizzling back yard BBQ's.  I have a slew of my favorite swimsuits in an array of colors, cuts and styles.  The hot pink one piece and red and white checkered one piece in my photos above are vintage!  My amazing fabulous mother passed those down to me when she wore them when she was my age.  They are extremely special to me.  As is the blue and green marbled high-waisted two piece, which is Oscar De La Renta!  Another glorious hand me down from fashion Mom.   

The fun patterned two piece with the gold clasp in the front is none other than Trina Turk ! I have always been obsessed and transfixed by her colors and designs.  The hot pink two piece is from a a bathing suit shop in Australia that I purchased for a pageant years ago that I still love to wear.  The Hello Sunshine hat is from my favorite accessory store, The Best of Everything in Florida!  Lastly, that amazing blow up Swan floaty makes all my pool dreams come true and I posted it below to shop, and though you can purchase one at Wal-Mart, I got this bad boy at Rite Aid!  Be prepared to spend a solid hour blowing it up haha, but really.

Being 100% Russian, and with an extremely porcelain complexion, I have to seek help from the tan gods to feel bathing suit ready!  Below I have my top 3 tanners.  Be sure to use a mousse, not a lotion, and make sure the bottle says 1-3 hour tan, light to dark.  Here, you do not have to fall asleep in smelly tan goo all over you for 8 hours plus.  Instead, you mousse all over, dry, wait 1-3 hours and then shower it all off.  Bam!  Just like that you are either golden or nicely tan for any special or mundane event that you want to look fabulous at.  

Favorite pool-side read?: It's Not Okay! By Andi Dorfman.  I think a lot of young women need to read what emotional and verbal abuse warning signs and red flags are.  Dorfman makes it a point to share her story to prevent others in similar situations from staying in them.  This Bachelorette Star has been through the wringer!  I salute any woman giving advice and being vulnerable enough to share her heartbreak.
