MAD ABOUT CALI

DON'T WINE ABOUT IT!

Is it Wine-O' Clock yet? (inset red wine emoji here)

Hi lovelies!  I used to live in LA for 2 and a half years.  During this time I explored the entire city and often drove up and down the Pacific Coast Highway.  This is something I highly recommend anyone visiting or living in LA to do.  It is amazing to get out of the city and really take in the beautiful nature that California has to offer.  I love hiking and equally unhealthy, wine tasting!

Vincent Vineyards - By far my favorite winery I have visited!  They treat every guest like royalty and the wine pairings with fruit, cheese and meats are out of this world.  I had lavender honey that was hand dipped and special Spanish nuts that complimented smokey chorizo!  I mean can you get any better?  Their wines were all divine as well.  My favorite was their Sauvignon Blanc, but know they have terrific reds.

Bridlewood Winery - If you want picturesque breathtaking views, top wines and a luxurious vacation spot to boot, Bridlewood Winery is your spot!  I fell in love with the architecture and nature surrounding the winery.  Be sure to walk around the property, take pictures and soak in the beauty that is Bridlewood.  Everyone here was super friendly and helpful and you can tell they are proud of such a lovely place.

The Four Seasons Santa Barbara - If you are going to plan the perfect getaway, here is THE place to do it.  My goodness. Unlike any hotel I have ever been to, and I have traveled to all kinds, FSSB is unique in that every room is a Spanish casita/bungalow surrounded by nature.  All rooms are special and have different adjacent patios, gardens and views.  I adore this hotel because it does not feel like a hotel, it feels like a vacation well worth it.  PS. extremely romantic!

Lover of travel, golden sunshine & all things art.
